Kristin Klehr - Percussion
GRAMMY Nominated percussionist + singer Kristen Klehr tours internationally with Scrap Arts Music, teaches Music Business and Arts Entrepreneurship at Mount St. Mary’s University, owns Produced by BEAR and The Den, and enjoys a multifaceted career path within the music industry. Kristen was thrilled to be a featured guest at Marimba + Voice Festival 2019 and will be hosting the 2020 festival in Los Angeles this coming summer.
Kristen was classically trained at Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music, earning a bachelor’s degree in Percussion Performance, and has studied primarily with Josh Ryan and Joel Smales. She has studied voice with Joanne Uniatowski and Randy Messing. Additionally she received a master’s degree in Arts Administration from Florida State University. Kristen is proudly endorsed by Marimba One, Dream Cymbals and Gongs, Vater Drumsticks and Mallets, and Earasers. She is represented for screen, commercial, and print by Clayton Music Management.
